Description
Interested in how games are made or wondering if there’s a place for you in the world of game development? This beginner-friendly workshop introduces the tools, roles, and creative thinking that power game making.
You’ll get hands-on with visual coding using GDevelop, explore industry tools like Unity and Unreal, and build your first interactive scene—no coding experience required. Along the way, you’ll discover how gamemaking connects to real-world roles like UX design, interactive storytelling, and more.
This is Workshop #1 in a 3-part series on gamemaking and career pathways in tech.
Thank you to EA Games for subsidizing free registration for this workshop, regularly presented with a suggested donation of $29. This event is included as part of Career Collective membership.
Following our recent merger, registrations are now managed through Ampere's website. Our workshops continue to run online as usual, just a new place to sign up! The 'register' button will take you directly to Ampere’s website where you can sign up.
