Description
Knowing how to use AI effectively for research is fast becoming a core professional skill, but most people use it the same way they'd use a search engine, and come away with results which feel shallow. This workshop teaches you a better approach. You'll be introduced to a practical set of free AI tools designed specifically for working with documents and research material: uploading sources, asking questions across all of them at once, pulling out key themes, generating plain-language summaries, and building briefing notes tailored to specific audiences.
Through a guided, hands-on exercise, participants will produce a real, source-cited research brief during the session itself. We'll also be direct about where these tools fall short, and close by pairing NotebookLM with complementary tools to fill those gaps. You’ll leave with a complete, reliable research workflow you can put to use immediately.
Thank you to Microsoft Elevate for subsidizing free registration for this workshop, regularly presented with a suggested donation of $29. This event is included as part of Career Collective membership.
TFollowing our recent merger, registrations are now managed through Ampere's website. Our workshops continue to run online as usual, just a new place to sign up! The 'register' button will take you directly to Ampere’s website where you can sign up.
