What are you passionate about?  “Solving problems and learning new things.”

Why did you get involved with Ladies Learning Code?  “It’s always a great feeling when you teach someone something that they didn’t already know and empower them with that knowledge to create new things. Ladies Learning Code just seemed like a good fit for that.”

What are you passionate about?  “I am a Computer Science student at the University of Toronto. As one would expect, I am very passionate about technology, primarily mobile and web. I am also very passionate about good design and good UX.
Outside the realm of Computer Science, I am a big cricket fan and a hobbyist guitarist. ”

Why did you get involved with Ladies Learning Code
“I feel it is an amazing community successfully trying to get rid of a stigma that has been around for way too long. The GirlsLearningCode program is a brilliant idea to get youngsters introduced to Computer Science early (something I always wish I had done).
And, I would love to pass on whatever little knowledge I’ve gained as a Computer Science student, in the hope of maybe inspiring someone else to take up the discipline.”

Why did you get involved with Ladies Learning Code
“A lot of people shy away from things they are not familiar with. Learning to code and different applications in IT would be very useful tools, whether it’s to start your own website to record down your interests/hobbies, or you can use it to start a business!”
