We’re keeping the late night movie and popcorn, but we’re adding a new twist, of course!
At this overnight technology adventure we are bringing in some of Toronto’s innovative tech companies to demonstrate their hottest gadgets and games. Girls will get an unique opportunity to try out new technology before any of their friends! We’ve got an unbelievable line up of cool activities to check out! All, in our pajamas!
Logics Academy will be teaching us all about robotic devices and how they perform tasks without the help of human beings. They’ll be demonstrating using some real life professional robots!
The girls will get a chance to use their hands and check out some robotics of their own as they learn all about the world of microchips and sensors. Using Arduino, the girls will get a chance to see how an electronic circuit works and how it can be paired with items like LEDs, speakers and motors to make some awesome things move, make sounds and more!
Next, girls will get a chance to use iPads to interact with some brand new exciting apps. These apps have been specially selected for the the slumber party and encourage positive, fun, social collaborative learning.
We’ll finish off the slumber party with late night snacks, a screening of Ruby Sky PI, a character who uses technology to save the day! The female creater of the show will even be joining us to give us a behind the scene look at what it’s like to create the show!
Also, lots of games!
Does the girl in your life love to be on the cutting edge of new tech? Or, is she just getting her feet wet and wants to join a bunch of awesome girls for an evening of techie sleepover fun? She isn’t going to want to miss this event!
