What can be done to improve a website's ranking on a search page?
Improving a website's search page ranking is the domain of search engine optimization (SEO). SEO is all about improving a website's ranking by making a website's content and structure more search engine friendly.
In this hands-on experience, learners will be introduced to some of the basic tools, techniques and principles of search engine optimization. Learners will:
* Define and describe the concept and elements of search engine optimization (SEO). * Explore the importance of SEO in how websites are discovered, including the role SEO plays in how a website is ranked in search results. * Use common SEO tools to audit the effectiveness of a website's SEO and propose strategies or solutions to make a website more search engine friendly.Prerequisites:
