Technology education for Canadians.

We design, deliver, and partner on technology education for Canadians and run programs for Ladies, Kids, Girls, Teens and Teachers. Our educational experiences cover everything from introductory HTML & CSS, to WordPress, Python, Ruby, Responsive Design, Photoshop and more. They are especially popular and successful because of the 4:1 ratio of learners to volunteer instructors at every workshop, which is only possible because of overwhelming support from the technology and startup communities in our Chapter!

& Mentors

Alex Ruaux
Freelance Web Designer and Developer

“Having been fortunate in the inspiring and supportive people who have helped me get to where I am today, I value the importance of quality face-to-face mentoring and am passionate about helping others experience new things and learn new skills. I also feel strongly that the best way to change the perception of 'coding' as a boring, nerdy and male-only domain is to help open people's eyes to what a wonderful and empowering skill it really is. I'm also passionate about 3D Printing and love spending time tinkering with it at home.”

Kathryn Presner
Happiness Engineer

“I love helping people use and understand technology, and I want to have a hand in demystifying tech for women and encouraging them to get more involved in the field. I get tremendous satisfaction from seeing people have "light bulb moments," as they grasp how do do something they never thought they could. Being a mentor at LLC gives me many opportunities to watch that happen.”

Ziad Saab

“My girlfriend and I are both web programmers and we are having tons of fun doing it. As her boyfriend I have a front-row seat into the life of a lady coder. Moreover I have been told by many friends that I should be doing some teaching so the mix of both has gotten me very interested in LLC.”
