Triton Checks and Registering for Experiences

**If you are joining us as a part of the TAP program, please ignore this lesson until further instructions are clarified from the CLC team**

**If you are joining us as a Third Party Partner organization, we accept your organization’s security background check and you do not need to complete an additional Triton check** Please skip this lesson if you are joining us with multiple members from your organization.

In order to participate as a Mentor for our virtual CLC experiences, you must complete a Triton background check.

Each week, the CLC CSM’s will be checking that Mentors have their triton check completed for the experiences that are upcoming. This list becomes available once you have completed the training materials, and attended a live Q&A session.

If you have completed this check in the last two years, you do not need an additional Triton check. You will receive an email confirming the check with CLC is still valid. Then, you can register for an experience by visiting the CLC website and searching for “Live Online Experiences” with the Mentor access code that was emailed to you. If you have trouble registering for an experience as a Mentor, please contact chaptersupport@canadalearningcode.ca

If you do need a Triton check, you will be contacted after completing Mentor training with a Triton submit request. This link can only be used once, and the link does expire. Make sure to look out for this email in your inbox and to action on it sooner rather than later! Once you complete the request for the Triton Check, and the results are submitted: then you will be contacted via email with a Mentor registration code. You can use this code to register as a Mentor for our Virtual Experiences on our website or on Eventbrite.

If you have not received a request to submit a Triton check, or if you are experiencing any issues with Triton, please contact Chapter support at: chaptersupport@canadalearningcode.ca
